Show paragraph marks & formatting symbols (¶) in Confluence Editor

I found a couple old requests for this feature, and it looks like it won't be built into Confluence anytime soon. Does anyone know of a macro that will do it?

While there are several apps in the marketplace that allow for formating there are not any I know of that provide formatting symbols.  Content formating marcos if the most robust https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/247/content-formatting-macros-for-confluence?hosting=server&tab=overview and I am fairly certain is does not provide this fucntiuonality.
