Dear Atlassian Community experts,
Just curious if Confluence code field support similar fill-on-demand feature appearing in Google gcloud documentation. For example,
https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/disks/add-persistent-disk
Originally look like this:
After click on 'DISK_NAME' and enter the text (e.g. 'AtlassianGCEDiskName' in this example), the 'DISK_NAME' in this whole page under gcloud tab would change together, and click the copy icon on the top-right corner would copy down with the after-change code.
Just curious if the Confluence code field support this. If yes, please how to enable it.
Thanks a lot.
Best,
Mingchin
Dynamic variables can be achieved with any of the plugins from the marketplace
Although the functionality is a bit different from what gcloud offers, its near to that I would say
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217150/easy-confluence-variables?tab=overview&hosting=server
Here's a feature request on the same from Atlassian
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-70336
Thanks,
Pramodh
FYI
For Cloud, the plugins are not available.
You would need to go with the templates option as of now or the Dynamic content macro (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/modules/dynamic-content-macro) which loads the data from another place

Hi Pramodh,
So the second one is for Confluence Cloud? My employer uses Confluence Cloud, so my only hope would be there's something ready / approved on Confluence Cloud.
Thanks,
Mingchin
