I work for a large organization and created my own space today for a team.
At the bottom of our company's first space page for another team my space creation is listed in the recent updates section. Might be because I follow their page but I'm scared it is because I added a space to theirs.
How can I be sure my space isn't under their space ?
@Lisa I Are you an admin on your organizations Confluence instance? You would have to be able to create spaces in their instance. My guess is that you created it on the company instance if you are seeing it in the companies instance. You can look at the url of the space to determine what instance it is on.
The URL on the main page has an address and a port number. The space i created is in that same port number. The path doesn't seem to clarify if it is seated under the other team space.
So can you add a space under a space?

It sounds like you have added a space to your organization instance. It will be a unique space and will not be under any other space as this is not possible.

Hi @Lisa I ,
are you talking about the confluence main page? In that page you have a list of all page updated/created based on the logged user permissions.
You can add a space within another space.
