we a currently creating many global templates. For making it easier to find the right template we thought about adding template categories, like the already existing "teamwork" category.
We know that it is possible to mark and to level higher the templates. But is it possible to add a new category?
@Sandra Zingerle unfortunately you can promote user generated templates (as you stated) but cannot categorize them to group similar templates together. You can use the promote tool to have templates appear in a specific order through promoting them in that reverse order, but that would take re-ordering each time a new template is created.
Do you know if this is on the list as a feature enhancement?
Our internal Design team is looking to build out a design template library but it's currently a challenge to look through all of the available templates since we cannot create our own category.

@Ebony If you have a dedicated Design "Space" you should be able to create templates for that workspace that are then accessible to people who have appropriate access to said space?
Then when creating a new doc from a template you choose / filter by the "Space" which would then only show the templates associated to that "Space".
