I am placing a Jira Filter Macro within a Table Transformer Macro. I have set up the Table Transformer Macro Options for Source Data to "Hide all Content". This displays properly on the Confluence page. However, if I Export to PDF, the PDF will display a copy of the source table at the bottom of the PDF.
Hi @Katie McGoff,
Unfortunately, I couldn’t reproduce the issue (app version 9.7.1): I have the Jira Issues macro wrapped inside the Table Transformer macro with a simple SQL query “SELECT T1.'Key' FROM T1”.
If I choose to hide all content, I see only a one-column table coming from the Table Transformer macro in my result pdf file.
If I choose to show all content, I see two tables in my pdf file: a one-column table and a full table coming from the Jira Issues macro.
So, please check what version of the app is installed for your instance and update if necessary.

Hi @Katerina Rudkovskaya _Stiltsoft_
I played around with this more and realized it's only an issue when I have a table inside another table. Something like this table inside of a Table transformer macro:
Will actually export to PDF (or Word) like this. where the table-within-the-table is duplicated underneath the table:
One might argue that putting tables within tables is in general a bad idea (ha), so I did work around this by just not putting tables inside other ones.

Hi @Katie McGoff ,
We see the issue now - indeed it is not a best practice to nest tables. For example, in Cloud editor you won't be able to do this at all.
But nevertheless we've created a ticket for our Server/DC roadmap and linked this question to it - we'll return to this thread when our developers make a corresponding improvement.
Thank you for reaching out!

Experiencing the same issue:
Table transformer [Jira filter for a specific field of a specific Jira issue that contains a table]
Table transformer is set to "hide all content" and "show result as plain text"
It looks fine on Confluence, but the table appears twice in the PDF export.

Hi @Miloš ,
Please define your hosting type (Cloud/Data Center) and if you have Data Center then specify the app's version.

Seems that you've specified the version of your Confluence. Please check the version of the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app.

Our developers could reproduce the issue: once the fix is released, we'll get back here with the update.
