I noticed the task report macro was not picking up certain tasks but picking up others. While this was frustrating, I figured out why, but not sure if there's a solution other than eliminate the task.
Basically, we used Confiform to create a template for projects with prepopulated tasks. The prepopulated tasks were not showing up on the task report. If i were to add a new task to the project, those would show up. Is there a reason why prepopulated tasks using a confiform would not show up? Is there a solution for this? Thanks
It sounds to me like you are creating pages with ConfiForms. Is that correct? If that is the case it seems like an indexing issue to me.
Thanks Davin - Yes we're using a Confiform to create project templates. Within the form, we have basic tasks that are consistent for every project so no need for an associate to type certain tasks whenever a project is created. Can an indexing issue be fixed?

ConfiForms cannot create pages with tasks, sorry.
The reason is - tasks are undocumented feature of Confluence and we simply don't know what needs to be done on our side to "generate" a storage format that is treated by Confluence as the one that contains inline tasks

Is it possible for ConfiForms to duplicate the functionality of "undocumented" tasks? That is, create a ConfiForm which requires a check in the box, and have the label associated with the box be captured by CF? Instead of using a button and then requiring the user to take an additional step to check a box?

Not at the moment. You still need to click (or double click, depends on the editing mode you choose) to start the "edit" for the field
