Hello,
when I export a confluence page to PDF the first line of text on a new page can be anywhere between right at the top of the page and somewhere 1 or 2 centimeters below.
I could except/understand different starting points for different heading levels or for headings compared to running text but it is literally without any consistancy.
How can I make sure that the layout is consistent and text always starts at the same point?
How is that controlled? How can it be adapted?
Hi @Steffen Heller,
This behaviour can be due to multiple reasons - different types of elements, macros, layouts, styles being used in your Confluence page.
You can try setting the header and footer of your PDF export in the PDF stylesheet settings. Visit this page to see how to add these settings. This will define your page content area and might help resolve the different distance from the top of the page issue.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Sireesha
Headers and footers are set. The content area is defined. The problem is that within the content area, text still starts at different points.
Do you have an idea what can be done about the "multiple reasons"?
