ToC Entries in Context

In the following example, I would like to include a localised Table of Contents at the beginning of each Group instead of the whole page. The list numbering indicates where Heading 1 and Heading 2 styles are used.

  1. Group A
    1. section a
    2. section b
    3. section c
  2. Group B
    1. list a
    2. list b

There will be a Group A ToC and a Group B ToC, each itemising the heading 2 styles below the Group but ignoring any other Heading 2 styles on the page.

The Help documentation explains that the Exclude feature in the ToC macro uses regular expressions (a reference to Sun documentation is given but this is over my head) but no examples are given. Is my example above even possible?

Hi @richardofrugeley

you can put each Group into a ToC Zone macro - like it's described here.

Put the whole content of each group into a ToC Zone macro and choose top for the location where the table is shown and it should work.

Thought I had marked as answer but had clicked the blue Answer link instead of the tick. Fixed now.
