Trial JIRA advanced-roadmaps

We are considering Jira Advanced Roadmaps. We want to start a trial.

Two questions:

1) What happens with the existing roadmaps in our current Jira standard?

2) What happens with the the adv. roadmaps if we decide NOT to continue with Adv. roadmaps after the trial?

Nothing will happens to current roadmaps, these roadmaps will be there during and after the trial.

2) What happens with the the adv. roadmaps if we decide NOT to continue with Adv. roadmaps after the trial? 

You will loose the access to Adv. roadmaps section

1 is clear.

2 not 100% clear.  If I add an "initiative" issue during the trial. I do understand that I loose that if we will not continue. But what happens with the epics I created under this initiative?  Do they remain in our system but as a kind of "orphan"?

Epics are part of Jira Software, they will remain in place, and still contain the stories and issues you  had in them before.
