I am trying to create my own macros in confluence. However, I cannot get to the screen that allows for this.
According to this Link, you have to click on the gearbox icon, then general configuration, then user macros.
My version of confluence does not have that structure however. See below
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
HI,
Seems like you are not system admin for the Confluence instance you are using. The screenshot you shared is from space administration section. You'll need System Administrator permissions to create and manage user macros.
Please check with your system admin to get the macros created.
Cheers!
Thank you for the response, I understand now. Is there any way to become a Systems Administrator or is that reserved for Confluence teams in a company's organization?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
That depends on your organization policy how they distribute admin license.
Generally, would not recommend to have too many admins, that messes up the whole instance sometimes. You can definitely reach your admins for help in this case.
