I'm trying to link to a SharePoint page from a Confluence page. I highlight the text, click the link toolbar button and paste the full destination URL into the field. After publishing the page, the URL is reduced to https://#
If I paste the URL but edit it down to just https://dept.domain.com/team/sitepages/home.apsx it saves ok. Any thoughts on why the full URL would not save? Length restriction? Unsupported characters?
Full Destination URL:
Maybe the full URL opens a page that has content not supported by Confluence.
Also are you logged into the SharePoint page at the time of linking to your Confluence page?

Hi Mike
it's definitely a weird one!
I'm not asking Confluence to support the content on SP though, since clicking the link will just redirect the browser tab to the SP page.
Yes, SP is authenticated (internal app). The odd thing though is that i can point to the SP list itelf, containing all documents and that link works fine - but when i try to use the full URL of the list item Confluence saves it as https://#.

That is weird.
Another thing you can try is adding the URL into an iFrame macro and see if it loads.
