I've recently started using the Confluence Whiteboard feature and noticed something odd: I can't seem to directly draw or sketch within the Whiteboard itself. While importing drawings from Miro works perfectly, I find it quite strange that direct drawing isn't possible. Am I missing something, or is this functionality simply not available?
Could someone clarify why the Whiteboard doesn't support direct drawing, or if there's a planned update to enable this basic feature?

There currently is not a free drawing feature in Whiteboards. I know that there are some apps in the marketplace that provide this feature in Confluence but I am not sure if that is in whiteboards as well. Excalidraw and Tldraw are two you could look at. I am not seeing nathing on the raodmap for this. https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/cloud?status=future;comingSoon;completed&
Thanks! Well, no need to use this Confluence Whiteboard until it supports this natively.. that and different forms of boxes with possibility of text. If they want to compete with Miro, they need to include this :)
Funny enough, I have seen images of Confluence Whiteboard where it's definitly free drawing, but they have probably just imported that from Miro then :p
