Unable to access Confluence server by url after upgrade

Miroslav Denkov August 16, 2020

Hello, after successfully upgrading from Confluence Server 6.13 to (latest till now) 7.6 I can no longer access Confluence server by url (http://atlassian/confluence). However, I can access it by ip - 192.168.1.3:8090

I'm leaving a screenshot of what I get when visiting http://atlassian/confluence

When visiting ip:port (192.168.1.3:8090) I get fully working startpage for Confluence, no problems there. No changes have been made in the settings, the url is still the same, I'm providing screenshot for that too.

@Miroslav Denkov

Did you check your server.xml file?

Please take a look at the logs and see what errors you are getting there.

Another question: you use http, any reason?

Hello Fadoua, I actually forgot to make any changes to the server.xml file after the upgrade... I compared the old .xml and new .xml files, did some edit (proxy, ports, scheme, etc.) and it worked like a charm.

Thank you!
