Hi,
I am not able to access my confluence and below message is thrown:
"Page level restrictions have been applied to a parent of the current page. These restrictions limit access to certain users or groups and apply to all pages underneath the parent."
How should i know what is the name of the Parent Page of my child confluence? So, that i can reach out to parent page owner and request him to give access to me for my child confluence. Thanks,Adarsh
Click on the "breadcrumbs" at the top of the page, or look in the page tree.
Hi Nic,
No breadcrumbs are being shown for this confluence. I tried to search entire confluence, but nothing is shown.
Only below message is thrown:
"Page level restrictions have been applied to a parent of the current page. These restrictions limit access to certain users or groups and apply to all pages underneath the parent."
Thanks,
Adarsh

Yes, not even page tree. I only get page level restriction message (below screenshot).
Thanks,
Adarsh

I get the same as system admin of our confluence for many pages. Users expect admins to be able to find out who they need to talk to but as admin I can't find out the parent page so I can't see who it is locked to.
The only way I have been able to do this in the past is to work through all the restricted pages on a space and remove all the restrictions until the original page is accessible and then re-instate all the permissions. This is a VERY long process which can take many hours or days and exposes pages that should be restricted for the the duration. All that is needed is for the above message to be extended to give a link to the page that is causing the restriction.
