Is there a way to modify the person who last modified a page? E.g. when he is no longer in the company Confluence will show Unknown user. Can we update that to a known user?
Hi Patrick,
Good point and I've only used this work around once and it was with the creator of a group of pages who left the company. I'm guessing it would as you suggest update the creator for all versions but I've never tested this out.
Thanks,
Danny
Hi Patrick,
If you are comfortable making updates to the database yourself (and after heading the warning about this) - you can find steps here. And as suggested, make a back up before attempting the work around.
Hope this helps,
Danny

Hi Danny,
Thanks. But the link explains how to update the creator of page (which is also useful), but sometimes the Unknwon user is the person who last modified the page and not the creator. And I do not want to update the creator in that case.
Is there also a 'set modifier' or 'set last modifier'? I presume the SQL mentioned updates the creator of all versions of a page?
Regards,
Patrick
