Upgrade backend Postgres RDS ver 9.6 to ver 12.0. Will this impact the confluence application?

Hello ,

One of our company's  application  is using confluence product  with  back end   Postgres RDS version 9.6.  As the RDS version will get decommissioned in  January 2022 , we intend  to upgrade to Postgres version 12.0.

Will the upgrade impact  application ?   Please let us know at the earliest.

According to the KBs the highest supported version is Postgres 11 https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/supported-platforms-207488198.html
