User created personal space and made it public - can it be converted to a site space?

A user in our organization started building a KB in her personal space and then renamed the space and made it available to edit and view for all users. The space appears under personal spaces in the sidebar, but is really now a site space. Can a personal space be converted to a site space so that it is categorized properly? I have not been able to find a setting that would change the status or type on the space level.

If this cannot be done, any suggestions on how to copy the entire personal space and recreate it as a site space?

Thank you, this app was able to convert a personal space to a site space by copying the entire space.
