Plus the headings from the TOC just disappear but they are there if you highlight the section. (highlighted in blue and beside the top two anchors in the image)
Welcome to Word import! Clearly Word has anchors pre-installed for your convenience. ;-)I think they are links used for the ToC.
I just delete them. I also try to clean out everything from the Word document before I import:
Then after import, I use the Regex capabilities of the source editor to clean out other stuff, or replace br tags with p tags.
This may be a stupid question but, how do you get into the source editor in Confluence? I can only see the visual editor!
