I need to edit 2200 confluence pages and add their respective Adoit Analysis. Since doing them one by one causes Confluence to crash quite regularly, it takes around a minute to add a single Analysis (while already using the fewest possible clicks).
Is there any way to maybe tell Confluence to add the Plugin to every page in a subfolder?
The referred Analysis always consists of the page name and " - Deployment" at the end of it.
I was thinking of maybe downloading all the necessary pages and editing them one by one, since that might skip the 30 second loading times when searching for the Adoit Analysis. However, I haven't found a way to download the pages and reupload them.
ANY improvement ideas are welcome, even if they only shave off 5 seconds of the process.
Good day @Sebastian Salzburger, and welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Unfortunately, there is no easy/automated way to perform this (to my knowledge). Which type of macro do you need? Is it a recurring one (aka the same one) or does it need to be unique to each page?
Here, possible alternatives that can save 5 seconds are working with the Storage Format (especially if the macro you need is basic) and adding the code to each page, as it opens faster.
Alternatively, you could use an asset management app to save some time. Basically, you create an Excerpt for Macro A, B, and C, and instead of creating multiple new macros, use an "include" version of these.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi Rodrigo and thanks for the propositions!
I believe the Source Editor might be just the tool I was looking for. It might not be a "mass editing plugin"-tool, but it will definitely shave off enough time, to make it feel like I'm making progress.
Thanks again! :)
