Hi all,
when I paste an image from clipboard to a confluence page, I would expect the image to be attached to the page and inserted into the page.
But instead a link to the original website where I copied it from is created.
Is that the designed behaviour? Do I always have to attach it first?
Couldn't find any documentation on that.
Confluence Version is 6.7. The drag&drop add-on is enabled.
The behaviour is the same with chrome and firefox.
Best, Anne
Hi @Anne Warmer,
how do you copy it? Do you copy the picture adress?
Do you copy while you 'Edit' the page?
Wasn't able to reproduce it.
Hi Fabienne,
I copy it with the context menu:
when I insert this into my confluence page the file is not attached, but a link is created:

Hi @Anne Warmer
hmm - that's really strange - it looks like you're using IE - also tried it.
Again was not able to reproduce it.
Is the link shown on the page, or is there the icon for pic?
Do you copy & paste it or do you use the Insert > Image dialog?
Best regards

I tried with IE and Chrome.
The picture is shown, but it is not attached to the page.
I paste the clipboard.
Thanks for trying to help,
Anne

That's really weird - especially when it's shown on the page... Hope someone will be able to help...
Good luck!
