We are running the free version of Confluence cloud but we have always been able to do collaborative edit, today, it simply doesn't work.
There used to be a + sign beside the avatar of the one editing, but it's now gone.
Anyone knows anything about this?
Hey @Tobbe Wilson ,
On top of what Brant said and live pages - for regular pages, this option has been 'moved'. You now can share drafts/invite additional people via Share button and then by entering the user's name or by copying a direct link.
Cheers,
Tobi
Ok, so the issue was solved but now i have one user that's not able to see or edit shared editable content. Don't even know where to look.
All other users can edit shared content, but one. All have the same roles

@Tobbe Wilson can you maybe share what that user is seeing when trying to access this content?
Also, have you checked if the user has a product license? In case of Confluence, the user should have "User" product role for this tool.

A message saying she has no access rights. She has user product role for both Confluence and JIRA. Can access both without problems except when link is shared for editing.

Ran out of ideas here m8. It's much easier to 'debug' this kind of stuff if you have access to the instance. If possible, I would recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support as they can definitely give you a hand with this (or to a solutions partner if you have one).
*regarding the support, you can always switch to the free trial for the Standard or Premium plan, raise a ticket and then switch back to Free plan once the issue is resolved

@Tobbe Wilson Welcome to the Atlassian community
A new feature called live edit is being rolled out. This might be what is causing the issue. Check out the documentation here and see if this is available instead on the pages with collaborative editing missing. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-and-collaborate-in-real-time-with-live-docs/
