This is the dashboard on my site  v. Confluence 7.2.1

This is the dashboard shown in the documentation. - How can I get that view? Is it a settings issue?

Hi @Josh Dittmar and welcome to Community!

It may indeed be a configuration issue, you can check it here:

  1. Go to General Configuration > Further Configuration
  2. Check if the homepage is set to dashboard

(more information here: Configuring the Site Home Page)

If you're not a Confluence admin and can't go check the configuration, you can access the dashboard at <yourConfluenceURL>/#all-updates

Hope this helps,

- Manon

You also have an option to set the Dashboard as your Site Homepage on your profile - even when it's not your site default.

Cheers.
