Will there be a cloud version of the Metadata Plugin?

The company I work for relies on the Metadata Plugin for various Confluence pages. We are now looking to migrate to Confluence cloud but might not be able to because there isn't a cloud version of this plugin. Are there any plans to develop a cloud metadata plugin?

We would very much like to see a cloud version of the metadata plugin too. Looks like this is exactly what we have been looking for but are using Confluence Cloud.
