Hi,
I have created a confluence page which has an excel file.I have given access to some of the users.I want the user can edit the excel file and can save their changes. But when the user is trying to edit and save the file, its showing the file is readonly and the user has to save to their local and upload again.
Can someone please tell me how can I make the user to edit and save the same file with out saving to their local and upload it.
Thanks,
Lavanya
Hi Lavanya,
A user with the Atlassian Companion app can easily edit and re-upload files to Confluence. Check out this page for more information.
Good luck!
Thank you so much for your time Jared.. but my actual requirement is user should edit and save the same file...not to save and upload it again..:)

Hi Lavanya,
I am not from the Confluence team and am not an expert but I will try to help!
I think the Excel Macro inside Confluence does not allow you to edit directly in the page.
There is a third-party add-on that can do this though: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212486/spreadsheets-for-confluence
I hope that helps!
