issue with updates on plugins. The update request button doesn' work

The update button when I need to update a plugin (from manage plugins dashboard) doesn't work. In order to update a plugin I need to manually uninstall every plugin and then reinstall it. Also the left button (>)  of every plugin that shows the information related doesn't work as expected. I have followed this workaround but did not solve the issue:
