Is there a way to limit anonymous access to a limited number of people, e.g. by sharing one and the same secret password with them, not by issuing personal userids and passwords.
The use case would be to temporarily give a group op people (anonymous) a preview of the space, before it is opened up for everyone.
thanks

Hey @Pascal
Yeah, unfortunately that’s not how anonymous access works. It’s all or nothing, it seems.
If you want to share one or more spaces with a limited group, you could try my team’s app Scroll Viewport. With it, you can publish your spaces to a customizable help center and you can connect it to a SAML authentication provider so people have to log in. Another option is you can give select people access tokens.

thanks @Matt Reiner _K15t_
Could you elaborate on what you mean precisely by "give select pepole access tokens"?
thx

Of course! When you enable access tokens in Scroll Viewport, the entire site is put behind a login page.
You can generate up to 20 unique access codes that users can user to log into the site. You might share a code with a single person, a team, or an entire organization.
You can also append any generated token as a query parameter to the URL of any of your site’s pages to provide instant access to the pages. This is great in situations where you only want people with a specific URL to have access to your help center.

Hi @Pascal
Unfortunately, and to quote Atlassian:
When you make your content available to anonymous users, this means anyone on the internet. The anonymous access feature can’t accommodate sharing with some anonymous people and not others. It’s all or nothing.
You can always use the "Share" action for a page, but not for a space. And I know that this could possibly means a lot of "share links". :/
But if it's for preview only to a handful of people, if you have some licenses to spare, you can always create a group for them with application access and grant them viewing permissions for that specific space (having in mind not to grant them access to other spaces).
A third way would be to export all space pages to a pdf and share them with all the people you need.
Hope any of the above helps.
