Hi,
I have a page in Confluence which contains Jira links to several linked issues in Jira.
when navigating from Jira, I would like the clicking on the link to confluence will take me the exact location in the page from which the Jira issue was created, but instead it takes me to the page's title.
did anyone encountered this scenario? or has an idea for this problem?
Thanks
Keren
Hi Keren,
This is expected behavior, and it's not possible to link to the specific macro which mentions the Jira issue.
There was a feature request for this a while back, but we have decided not to implement it in the near future:
My recommendation would be to provide the feedback above about your usage case as well as by sending feedback via your Cloud instance.
Hopefully some users have come up with a workaround or two for this exact situation, and will be able to reply to this thread here.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon,
Thank you for your answer, can you please explain how to "provide the feedback above about your usage case as well as by sending feedback via your Cloud instance."?
the missing functionality would improve the usability of Jira -Confluence integration, as in the current situation you can only go from Confluence to Jira, and if you want to go back to the full description of the issue (in Confluence) - you can't - the linked issue hyperlink will take you to the page heading and then you'll need to search for the specific issue (by its id, for example)
Thanks in advanced
Keren

Hi Keren,
You can provide the comment on the feature request above, even though it's closed, and the comment will be seen by our developers. You need to make sure you're logged in before you can comment there.
On your Cloud instance, when you click on you profile picture in the left-hand side, there's an option to send feedback to the developers via the menu.
I hope that helps!
Regards,
Shannon
