move pages does not work

we try to move pages within a space and between spaces. We have tried with different browsers.
Sometimes the window as described in the documentation opens sometimes it does not. We have the latest version of Confluence 5.10

we are lost.

Moving is a deleting action from the source Space and a create action in the destination Space

So I believe you need to have Space Page Delete Permissions in the source

and

both Space Page Create Permissions in the destination AND you must be included in the destination Parent page Edit Restrictions if they are set

• Procedure you're using for an inter-space move
• the specific errors you are receiving

As I tried to say above, assuming you have Edit Permissions yourself in the Space, you need to check if there are any Page Restictions set on your page you want to move (i.e. you are allowed to Edit it) AND the page you want to move it to (you are allowed to Edit it as well).  If you don't have all three as authority to Edit it won't work.

There are no page restrictions on the page. The other action buttons like Edit, Copy and Delete need to be clicked twice in order to function, whereas move does not function at all. Regarding the permissions, I have admin privileges and can Edit all the pages.

I am not sure if your Admin priveleges override specifc Page Restrictions for View &/or Edit.  Please check the source and desitination parents don't have the red lock icon under the title.

Hallo Milo,

we proceed like described in the documentation. We tried internet explorer, chrome and google. We even upgraded from 5.7 to 5.10 and restarted the server.
Click while on the page   MOVE
but the "Set Page Location" does not open. 

I have administration rights and also space rights and all the permissions
