popular content macro doesn'twork in anonymous mode

the macro does not display the most visited pages when you are not authenticated in the space.

Is there a workaround?

@PascalH are the most visited pages public? do anonymous users have permissions to view them?

Yes, the pages are public and anonymous users can view the pages. They have no other privileges
