Thanks for sharing the details.We have setup the confluence application link from global setup as same as explained  in the link that you have shared.

But I can see an application link setup inside the space tool integration.

Could you please help me with the use of this setup. Whether we have to setup this as well to link my jira project URL to my confluence space.
