I have some custom fields in my user profile that are not being used. Our user profiles our displayed on the team landing page for contact purposes. Would like to remove those unused fields from my profile to clean up that view.
User profiles do not have custom fields (unless you've got an app that adds them). Could you explain what fields you have, what you're trying to get rid of, and why? (I ask "why" just as a prelude to "is there a reason you can't just ignore them?", not anything big)
In the user profile, these are the fields available,

Like I said we have a landing page with all the team members profiles and not everyone's has the same amount of fields.
I noticed if I do not fill in the info in one of the fields it still shows up, but with no data.
Maybe I will ask one of the other users. Thought there was an easy way to omit, non-used fields in the profile. I am not a developer or programmer so if it can't be fixed within a GUI somewhere, I guess I am out of luck.
The only reason for this is conformity. Not hurting anything. Just looks goofy

Ah, I see.
They're not "custom fields", they're built-in. You can't remove those, they're hard coded.
Completely agree that they look goofy, I've rarely seen people put data in them, and I've never run into anyone who actually uses the data that goes into them! I think they're just a hangover from early Confluence when people thought they might be good to have if you're using it for an intranet.

Hello Chris,
Can you say a little more about your system? Custom fields are usually added with an app. If you have a user profile app installed, what is it called?

Almuth
