As of now, i am using "viewport url redirect macro" in confluence for attachmnets, due to this when user click on this page in confluence viewport, attached file will directly downloaded in the user's system an for some users it does not.
How to avoid this download option and enable the attached file to open in next or new tab?

the way a file URL is being handled can depend on different factors, like browser settings, file type, file size and Content-Disposition. Extensions like PDF readers might also change the standard behaviour. Since all browsers handle content differently, depending on the user setup, a file might open in a new tab or as a download. The macro itself doesn't include any suggestion for the browser how to deal with file URLs (whether to download or display them).
