How can I remove irrelevant elements from a public Confluence space?
Why does Confluence still display the comment button for anonymous users if comments is not enabled? The page is full of content that is irrelevant to public users.
I would also prefer to remove the page author name and icon. Is that possible?
The attached photo shows all the elements I want removed.
Thanks Brant.
Is there any justification for the comment button remaining while the permission is removed for anonymous users? Wouldn't you agree this is a UX fail?

@Paul R Unfortunately there is not a delivered way to hide this or an app that provides that functionality. I would suggest submitting an enhancement request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

I would agree that there are several elements that can cause issues and confusion because they prompt the user to login or provide an access error if they are clicked.
