Hi Atlassians,
We have successfully setup Confluence v6.11 in Data Center with 2 nodes(having 2 accounts "confluence" and "synchrony").
We have followed the documentation above to setup on Confluence Node-1. We are able to launch our application securely on Node-1, but not Node-2.
There is nothing in specific provided in the documentation on how to implement on data center.
Do we need to copy the cacerts and any other files from Node-1 to Node-2 to have secure setup on Node-2 as well ?
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Navadeep
Hi @Navadeep
My understanding is that, unless you are using a load balancer, that allows you to configure the cert there, you are going to need to set this up on each server that you will want to use https for.
Thanks a lot Kimberly and Reto for your comments.
As of now, as per our company security policies, we don't want to terminate SSL at load balancer. Trying different scenarios to see whether the Collaborative editing works fine with out Load balancer setup(only with https we are trying). I mean accessing the application securely like https://<application server name where appn is installed>:8443
If these scenarios doesn't work out, we have to terminate SSL at load balancer.
Thanks!!
Best Regards,

Hi @Navadeep,
Atlassian recommends to do the SSL termination on the load balancer.
