Dear community,
I'm a bit surprised that the search isn't working as expected. After studying these 2 pages of documentation...
....I thought the matter was clear:
When I search for occurrences of the term "Paypal", I will type pay and I already get hits.
But that's not the case. I have to specify the exact term paypal. Of course I can alternatively enter pay*, then I get the results. But the documentation says that search hits are displayed as soon as you enter a term. That means it shouldn't matter whether I enter pay or paypa. But instead there are no hits.
More: Also entering *aypal* brings no result.
So either I didn't understand something fundamentally, or the thing just doesn't work as described.
Thanks for you help! Andreas
When the only support for someone who wants to test the product is called "Community Support".
No one trying to sell me a paid plan, but also no support.
Strange company.
Hi @Das Hufnagl and welcome,
I just tried on my confluence instance and it works as per documentation. If you write a portion of text confluence will search all pages (title or content), attachments or space that contains that text.
