Hi,

is it possible to search for attachment content only in the newest version of a (.docx)file? It seems like by default confluence also searches in older attachment-versions.

kind regards
daniel

Hi @Daniel Seegräber

if you want to have more comfort in the search, you might also be interested in our solution iFinder Confluence Search. This enterprise search solution delivers top results based on linguistic analysis and offers many additional features.

Regarding your request:

A duplicate search is included. This shows how many duplicates there are for a found element/file. The duplicates can be displayed with a click in a new searchtab.

There is also a time filter and a graphical period control.

Hi @Daniel Seegräber ,

I'm pretty sure you can't do this out of the box as version is not even a CQL field.

So in case the last modified date of the file is unknown, I can only think of third party version management apps who may perform that kind of extended search.

Kind regards,

Nicolai
