I've found that if I just do a search of the user's name or username in the general search box, Confluence will suggest pages created by that deactivated account.

@Carla Norman If you use the Advanced Search instead of the general, there is an Edited or created by filter available. I don't have any deactivated users, but I presume you can select the deactivated user to get all pages or use additional filters to get more specific results.

Thanks Barbara! This was actually the original issue as that's what my tech was doing to find the pages and he was not able to choose the deactivated user.
