I would need help regarding the Search functionality. When I search some word, it provides me a list of pages wher this word is in. However, when I open the corresponding page, the word is not highlighted or remarked somehow for me to get where that word is in. Is there any way of highlighting the searched word?
Moreover, is there any possibility to constrain the searach to a certain page?
Thank you!
Have a nice day. Best regards
Carlos
As i know, there is no way to get a search query highlighting on a Confluence page via Confluence search.
Constrain the search to a certain page is possible with the "Confluence advanced search"
Or you can use the "Live Search Macro".
If you interested on a high qualtiy search solution for Confluence, iFinder Confluence Search is available at Atlassian Marketplace. It helps even the confluence user without expert knowledge to search quite intuitively.
Herewith you get an preview service for each search result which shows highlighted the search query on a Confluence site or in any attachtments:
This enterprise search solution delivers top results based on linguistic analysis and offers many additional features. Also a dashboard is available where you can found your previous searches, your saved searches and favorites.
Additional to the search UI, you can place the iFinder Search Macro on your Confluence site with your preconfigured search setting e.g. searching only in some spaces - this will match your request. These articles may help you:
Let me know, if you need further information or like to get a demo first.
