Send registration welcome email to newly signed-up users?

Hi - is there any functionality or plugin which will allow Confluence to be able to send new users a welcome e-mail with custom text and information welcoming them to the system and giving them introduction information?

I'm pretty sure you can use ScriptRunner for Confluence | Atlassian Marketplace

Check this feature Script Listeners (adaptavist.com)

I have not used it for Confluence, but I'm almost confident this works the same as in Jira, so you will be able to create a custom email and send it.
