Hello everyone,
we got two teams, collaborating in two spaces on the same confluence server (5.8.4).
Now we've got the problem, that via the @mention-Feature User A (only works in Space A) can Tag User B (only works in Space B), altough -best case-User A shouldn't even know that Space B and all it's Users exists.
Is there a possibility to seperate spaces in such a way, that it is impossible for every user on space A to search content, user or attachments considering space B?
Tara and Pilar are correct about information access, to add though, I don't think there is anyway to "hide" users. So mentions will autofill with the entire user list.
Yes you can set the view permissions on the space B to only members of space B. This you can set by going into the space admin screen for project B.
Once you apply space level permissions, no content on space B will be visible to any users outside the group of people you defined.

Hello Steffen,
Users can only search content which they have access to. If you set permission on two spaces such that they are not related to one another then it is not possible for User of Space A to search content on Space B.

Is there any way of workaround? It is necessary, that users of Space A dont even know that there are other users in Space B oder Space C
