We have quite a huge range of content published on confluence and as a medical product need to follow certain workflows when new content is published. The relevant content is accumulated in one subpages with several subpages, in which several users can add new subpages. But two people need to be notified, when any new subpage within the cluster of subpages is published.
Is there any funtionality to make this happen?
You can build smart, custom notifications with Better Content Archiving for Confluence.
You can specify with CQL, what pages you want to send out in notification emails. In you use case, you could say
parent = 1234567890 and created > now("-24h"
and set the exact users as recipients.

(Please note that Better Content Archiving is a free/paid, supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)
