Single project prefix and multiple team collaboration around an epic

Chris Dixon August 30, 2018

Hey All,

Currently i have a JIRA structure where we have a single project / initiative delivered by multiple epics.

These epics are delivered by multiple teams all of which have their own boards as a drop down from the project.

Previously having multiple project prefixes i could easily see which teams were delivering which components for an epic however with this structure i can't.

Does anyone know of any way i can view which teams are working on which stories for an epic easily when opening the epic / release.

My teams are stored using an assigned team field which is a predefined drop down.

Hi @Chris Dixon

Thank you @Fabian Lim for mentioning BigPicture.
It’s a comprehensive tool that supports project management in every phase. You can easily visualize the scope of work assigned to given teams, even if they use separate boards.

Moreover, the Board module visualizes Jira Sprints and cross-team dependencies, making the planning process much more manageable. If you are interested in other features such as capacity planning or tracking the progress, have a look at the article: Board in BigPicture

Hi Chris,

You may want to consider using Advanced Roadmaps or BigPicture plugins to satisfy this requirement.
