I'm trying to do a basic onboarding/offboarding form using the status macro. How do I assign an action to a status or change in status?

The status macro allows you to add a colored label to your Confluence page to indicate the status of a task, a project, or a document. However, the status macro does not have any built-in functionality to assign an action to a status or change in status. You will need to use some additional apps or integrations to achieve this.

You can try to find some apps in the Atlassian Marketplace. Automation for Jira might suit your needs.
