Hi,
The administrators for our Jira/Confluence suite received a strange email from jira@<ourcompany>.atlassian.com. <ourcompany> obviously being the placeholder for our confluence/jira URL.
The contents of the email were exactly as follows:
templates/email/html/contactadministrator.vm
Even stranger, the reply-to address was an individual in the company that has never used confluence/jira nor was even registered to do so. Furthermore, there are no references to this individual's email address anywhere in the configuration of the suite.
Can you provide any information on this email?
Thanks,
Eric
Hi Eric,
I'm assuming you mean "ourcompany.atlassian.net" rather than "ourcompany.atlassian.com". It looks like you are experiencing the following bug:
Someone has used the 'Contact Administrators' form, which is currently broken in OnDemand. I would suggest reaching out to whoever attempted to contact the admins of your JIRA instance to see what they want.
That definitely seems to be what is going on here. Thanks for the info!
