"Subscribe to Daily Updates on by Default for Confluence Server"
Our Melbourne based company, including about 1000 Confluence users, are newcomers to effective knowledge sharing. Many feel overwhelmed from too much to know and too much 'stuff' going on to be clear what to do.
A few who also felt that way are now using "Subscribe to Daily Updates" and it's proving useful to help with the 'too much stuff' problem SO .. we (admins) believe nows a good time to turn it on by default for the whole company (allowing people to turn off if really don't want).
Current problem is we can't see how to turn on by default. Any thoughts welcome.
FYI My search before asking resulted in "Subscribe to daily updates" and "Daily updates - Confluence" both posted 2013 era so thought I'd create a new post. Happy for moderators to rename, relocate, edit .. Cheers - Hugh PS. We're using "Confluence Server 6.15.6" presently. Happy to liaise directly if preferred.
I'm actually trying to figure out how to turn off daily updates (for some reason the subscription checkbox keeps getting re-enabled every time I disable it) because the amount of content changed at our organization every 24 hours is overwhelming and 99.9% is irrelevant to my role.
So depending on the number of changes your users might not appreciate it being on by default.
