Suppress email notifications when creating and editing confluence pages

When you create and edit a confluence page, You will be notified by email. Is it possible to deter it or prevent it from being notified to specific people?

Adding to the comments above on the existing page

• Updating an existing page: (another way - edit mode) Make sure the box is unclicked on the bottom right corner of the page "Notify watchers". This is a second option.

Hi @Robert Pineres , the Notify watchers checkbox is for Server/Data Center, the reporter has tagged his question with Cloud.

Hi @青山 明 , if those specific people follow your space:

• When creating a new page: Watchers will always get notified, there's no way to turn this off
• When updating an existing page: Click on the more actions button (...) and choose Publish without notifying watchers

However, you cannot select who will be and won't be notified.

You can also leave the Edit in draft mode until you're ready to publish.
