Sync HipChat rooms permissions with confluence space permissions

Is it possible to sync those permissions? For example:

member A is part of Confluence group A, this group enables this user to access space A.

Now I would like to sync those permissions. Member A of Group A should access room A (which is connected with space A). If you do not have permissions for space A you cannot access room A.

Is this possible?

This isn't possible currently. But I guess you can raise a new feature request on this at: http://jira.atlassian.com/ under Confluence project.
