System Plugins and Updates

Should we be updating the system plugins when upgrading the Confluence application or is it recommended to always keep them up to date.

We noticed one of our system plugin was out of date, so we manually updated the system plugin on our test application. We noticed that the plugin moved from system plugin into User Installed... does this matter?

Hi, 

yes, you should update plugins every time when you make upgrade of application. I don't think categorization is something wrong if you are simply upgrading everytime. ;-)
