I used to be able to set the maximum number of issues for Display in a table, and beneath the table on the Confluence page, it would display "2 out of 12", or whatever. It would indicate that there were more issues being returned by the filter than just those displayed. That is no longer the case. All of a sudden, it just says "2 issues".
Can anyone help?
Hi. Thank you for your response. I don't think I'm using the "work items macro" you mentioned. I've attached 3 screenshots. I set up a sample table to show what's happening. I created 3 sample cards and used a very simple filter to display all three items (key=xxx or key=xxx, etc.). Then I expanded the "Display" link and specified that I only wanted to see 2 of the 3 items. That is exactly what is being displayed, but the problem is where it says "2 issues" next to "Refresh" at the bottom of the table. Previously, it would have displayed "2 issues out of 3". I found it helpful when I wanted to know how many issues were in a table even if theyweren't being displayed. I am the QA Lead of my group, and I sometimes choose to filter out issues that have a certain status, but I still want to know that they exist - I'm just choosing to not display them. Does that make sense?
Hi @Denise McDonald ,
Are you using Jira issues/work items macro?
I'm not sure if they did any minor backend changes that would result in this UI change, but you should now be able to see the total number of items displayed in the filter.
Should the query display only those 2 items, or should there be more? When you had '2 out of 12' - was that some kind of pagination or something else?
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Denise McDonald ,
So, I've just tested this (by using Jira legacy macro) and it seems it's now displaying a total number of items/issues in the search query.
Although I think I've tested this a couple of days ago and that it didn't display that info.
Can you maybe check again and see if you're still experiencing this issue?

Thank you, I am seeing the same result as you! It's back! Thanks for the heads up!
