Tasklist Macro Not Working

Does anyone know why the {tasklist} macro is not working? Specifically, when I click a checkbox for a task to mark it as "complete", the change does not persist. If I leave and return to the page, the checkbox is empty again.

Currently on Confluence 3.5.13

Tasklist Version(s) 3.3.2 & 3.3.3 (updated to see if it would fix the problem. It didn't.)

I see similar behavior here: http://cpace.egr.msu.edu/confluence/display/ds/Tasklist (though they are on an older version).

Works fine with me. Did you try this on the "preview" screen ? That would not work (and happens to me on occasion :9 )

Our issue appears to be of our own making (custom layout work). Not sure how to account for the example I found in the wild.
